Over the past 50 years, the company founded by Herbert Pfennig in 1974 as a trading company for non-food articles has developed into an established specialist for innovative manual cleaning systems. Driven by passion, pioneering spirit and precision work, PFENNIG Reinigungstechnik is today internationally one of the most sought-after partners for manual cleaning in the cleanroom, healthcare and building sectors.

50 years PFENNIG Reinigungstechnik

PFENNIG turns 50 years old. PFENNIG has been equipping the cleaning industry with manual system solutions for half a century.

A new, fresh appearance

The company continues to develop: PPS Pfennig becomes the new brand PFENNIG Reinigungstechnik.

PFENNIG perfects pre-preparation - MopScoop²

With the innovative dosing and impregnation system MopScoop², PFENNIG ensures cleaning and disinfection in compliance with standards in the healthcare sector.

Simplify your cleanroom cleaning - MopScoop

Another innovation highlight from PFENNG: The IPA-certified dosing system MopScoop is the answer to all known challenges in cleanroom cleaning.  

Increased process reliability with MopSafe

Contact-free work and avoidance of cross-contamination: By introducing the MopSafe concept, PFENNIG offers absolute process reliability in manual cleaning.

Switzerland is calling

PFENNIG Reinigungstechnik AG is founded in Wangen an der Aare - a 100 per cent subsidiary of the German PFENNIG Reinigungstechnik GmbH.    

Introduction of the MopFloat pre-preparation method

PFENNIG continues to expand its cleanroom expertise and develops MopFloat - the safe, reproducible and validatable preparation of wipe covers in cleanrooms.

EasyMop GMP - new milestone in cleanroom cleaning

With the introduction of EasyMop GMP PFENNIG reduces unintentional operating errors by cleaning staff to a minimum. The impregnation process of the mop covers is operator-independent and thus easily leads to a reproducible result.

Hospital cleaning rethought and made individual

At the beginning of the 2000s, PFENNIG set new standards for manual cleaning in the healthcare sector. The Clino® Protect system trolley with central locking, for example, follows the trend towards completely lockable cleaning trolleys. In addition, the trolley can be individualised and is therefore also popular in entrance areas.

Competence and excellence in the cleanroom

With the development and market launch of the Clino® CR series and the special mop cover King CR PFENNIG succeeds in setting a milestone in cleanroom cleaning. The mop removes 99.9 % of all particles in a single-stage process and offers safe disinfection of GMP areas thanks to its validatable wetting behaviour. The high quality level is also confirmed by the IPA certification.

Pre-preparation at the highest level

PFENNIG develops the ProMop® system - the first closed system for the mechanical pre-preparation of mop covers and the basis for today's widely used EasyMop cleaning system. Ready-to-use mop preparation was then as now a revolutionary approach and unfolds its full potential especially in hospital cleaning.

Family business in second generation

Dietmar Pfennig, the son of company founder Herbert Pfennig, officially joins the company and thus follows in the footsteps of his father.

Market launch of the Ringo® flat press

High-quality results, safety and flexibility are the be-all and end-all when it comes to manual cleaning of surfaces in hospitals and care facilities. Compared to conventional press systems, the Ringo® flat press developed by PFENNIG is particularly convincing due to its maximum efficiency in cleaning buildings.

A new home

Modernisation at the Durach site: With the opening of the new company building and attached warehouse on the same site, PFENNIG is making a clear statement in the direction of expansion.

Innovation highlight Clino® stainless steel modular construction system

PFENNIG inspires with a new development: The Clino® cleaning trolley, consisting of three basic modules, is made of high-quality stainless steel and can be assembled in any variant with a variety of add-on parts.

Successful developments in the healthcare sector

PFENNIG is already very successful in hospital cleaning. That is why product development is focused in the health care sector - a groundbreaking decision that has shaped the company to this day.

Spot on cleaning trolleys and mops

As the products purchased up to then did not meet Herbert Pfennig's high quality standards, the company focused on the cleaning trolley and mop cover business from 1986 onwards.

International entry

PFENNIG takes over the representation of National Panasonic for commercial hoovers.

Foundation

Herbert and Brigitte Pfennig found a trading company for cleaning equipment in Durach in the Allgäu. Just two years later, the company specialises in the needs of building cleaning companies. To this day, PFENNIG Reinigungstechnik is 100 percent family-owned.
